Artist you posted that your trim mph and oil pressure gauges do not work after rebuilding your engine so to me it sounds like something other that problems with the gauges. Lets start off with the trim gauge - you didnt mention whether or not your lower unit actually goes up and down but if it does then the issue is most likely with the tilt trim switches located on. Not sure how the Volvo trim senders work but if it is like the Mercs you can adjust them. On a Merc you loosen the hold down screws of the sender turn on the ignition to power the gauges and with the drive in a full down position you rotate the sender. As you do the needle will move and when you have it where you like it tighten the screws.

The gauges which read engine info tachometer hour meter trim are not working. The tachometer and trim gauges respond to the initialization when key is turned on but nothing after. I assume its a signal issue and not a fuse since they do the initialization.

Ive got a new to me 2014 Cobalt R3. The analog speedometer and fuel gauge arent working they just stay at zero. The analog tachometer and trim gauges work fine.
